Usually for fun I hang out with my friends and just watch a movie, or have a party or go out to clubs, or just do anything sporadic or interesting. Where I used to live, my partner and I would take day trips or vacations if we wanted to get away. After we broke up, its been a little bit more difficult to find motivation to do anything, but I am surviving. Now, with no car at my parents house I pretty much just sit at home and do nothing but sleep. My family isn’t that active so it is a little bit frustrating. Thank goodness I can at least exercise when its not raining.

Be it far fetched for me to do right now at this point in my life,  but I like to shop at boutiques that have high quality clothing. They are ridiculously priced sometimes, but the clothes that I like to buy are of great quality and extremely fashionable. These clothes can sometimes only be bought in places like boutiques. The articles that I like to shop for sometimes also find their way to second hand stores, so I love to go there sometimes and peruse for what they have to offer. Its like a hunting game for me. I find it enjoyable.

I like winter only for the fact that it means the holidays are coming. I am not a big fan of the cold weather, nor the sicknesses it produces. I am not able to go for my daily run outside if it is freezing or raining, and it also means a lot more people get in car accidents and there is a lot more traffic on the roads. A plus is that I get to go snowboarding, and bring out that old snowboard I only use once a year, it just costs a lot for  me right now to go. $40 is a lot when you don’t have a job.

It has been a little bit hard for me to get re-adjusted to living at home, but I am managing. As an adult, I am used to being more free and independent. Moving back across the country with mom and dad and my younger brothers is a little bit embarrassing, and frustrating as I don’t have a car to go wherever I want and cant just leave at random times. Plus, we live a little bit further out than I would like. If my relationship went well, and I was able to focus on my job I wouldn’t be in this position right now. I would probably be a little bit richer and a little bit happier.

My blog is something I enjoy working on. Whenever I have the chance to add a new post, I smile as I re-read my post and tinker with the settings to put the photos in the best place. Through my blog, I obtained a secret admirer, who actually read through my entire blog once he discovered it. At first, I saw his comments as a way for him to make a connection with me, but as I have gotten to know him better from afar, I have noticed that he is a rather aloof and cold person. The mystique has worn off, and I am comfortable with seeing comments from him or not seeing them.

My little town is on the outskirts of a large metropolitan area and it is the town where I was born and raised. Going to the grocery store means running into old schoolmates and sometimes former teachers, as happened the other day when I noticed my 8th-grade art teacher in line behind me. I love driving through the main street of the town and remembering that the elementary school was the junior high when I was a teenager and I remember the teachers and friends and events of those two years. Living here reminds of who I am and where I come from and what I have grown into.

I love being a stay-at-home mom. One big change I would make, if I had the opportunity, would be to become a published writer. While writing and homemaking, I would also start and maintain an internet business, which would put me in touch with many different types of people and would give me a forum for sharing my gifts and talents, and being helpful to many people in a coaching format. While writing and homemaking and running my internet business, I would find time to be involved in some type of musical outlet where I could sing and play my flute.

One of my dreams is to have a small farm with my husband and my family. We would grow some of our own food, and spend times outside in every season. We would live in an area of the country that gets snow early and late, and new winter sports like cross-country skiing, tubing, skiing, and broomball would be part of our life. We would learn about the stars and spend time lying in the grass on a blanket with U2 playing the background, watching the stars fall, and seeing the wonders of the night sky. My family would thrive in such a setting.
