When my grandchildren are in the area we go to local home improvement stores for their kids clinics. They have made several fun projects, including planters with live herbs and wooden tape measures. I like to sew and attend events where fabric and sewing accessories are numerous. I listen to Christian music on my XM satellite radio station Enlighten. I am in the process of taking piano lessons so I can play for the local nursing homes. I have two cats and a Quaker parrot, which delight me with their mischief.
Effective Ways
Wet chemical fire extinguishers are one of the more effective ways to put out small fires in the home as well as the work place. The unfortunate reality is that very few homes or even businesses have wet chemical fire extinguishers or if they do they do not know where they are located, do not know how to properly use them or fail to maintain them. Many fires which become deadly or cause great damage could have been contained before serious damage or injury occurred. With simple planning, training and maintenance a serious situation can easily be averted and lives can be saved. The fire department should always be called as they are the equipped with skills and equipment the average person does not have access to but a wet chemical fire extinguisher is a wonderful front line of defense.
Over this past weekend
I looked on the internet to find a recipe, and wrote a list of the required ingredients. I had to purchase canning jars and decided on the pint size. I was given some extra green tomatoes by a good friend who gave me enough to complete the recipe. A trip to three local grocers located the mustard seeds used in the recipe. Three hours of chopping, draining, putting into jars and water bath processing netted 24 pints and one quart of delicious green tomato relish.

What ever shall I talk about?
I would like to talk about my friend that I recently parted ways with. About four months ago she started acting abnormal and treating me as if I didn’t exist in her eyes. She put me aside for a new girl that she has more in common with. I talked to her husband about the reasoning and what he said was ridiculous. He told me it is because she has money to go shopping and she lives closer than I do. If you are friends with someone that stupid stuff shouldn’t matter. What inevitably ended our friendship was when she told me that she no longer wanted to watch my son anymore because he is a pain. She no longer cared for my family and I could not stand for that. It hurt me to end it but what was I going to do? I could not just sit there and watch her hurt me over and over.
California, the Place I Call My Home!

Growing as a teen I only dreamed of one day getting out of my small Ohio town and getting away with my handsome husband. Now looking back on it I know I was wrong. I am now living in the city of San Diego. The place that thousands around the world only dream about visiting. The reality is underneath the beautiful beaches and weather is a place that charges double for worse quality products. I never understood the power of money till I moved here. I have no idea how normal people survive in this state.
It is definitely for rich folks. I will admit that it is worth it in some areas such as the beauty of it all. I will be sad to go in a few years but in all seriousness the life I want can not be lived in California.
To Wear or Not to Wear!
To be honest I am still wearing what I went to bed in. I have a side job as a babysitter and today was my day to watch the kids. So I received a phone call this morning around 8 and jumped out of bed to wrestle with little ones all morning. Today’s wardrobe consists of a black Tee Shirt and Coral jogging pants. I know how exciting that sounds because it really is but later today I plan on changing in order to go out to dinner with my car club. Therefore, I will include what I will wear as well as what I did wear. I will be making an appearance in a cute black drape neck thigh length dress with a waist belt to match. It is a little too short so I will also be sporting black leggings to tie my modern look together.
Don’t Sit Too Close to the Television!
One of my favorite television shows is 90210. It is very ironic to me because I used to bug my mom about her watching 90210 when I was growing up. I would tell her how retarded I thought it was and now eight years later I am now addicted to the 90210 spin off of the original my mom loves. I absolutely love the drama it has to offer and I look forward to see how everyone will screw up every episode. It seems that these characters that radiate beauty and perfection are not so perfect in the end. It makes my world look like a cake walk compared to what these characters put themselves through. I can smell the drama coming off the television every time Monday rolls around. Every episode something you didn’t expect comes in a changes the whole show. Nothing is the same as it was the past episode. Keeps you on your toes and holding your breath till the next episode.

Cherish it with Your Life!
In today’s world it is important to have something that means the world to you. Besides my family colorguard is my great passion in this life. Words can’t describe how it makes me feel to be out on the floor performing a routine that has been long in the making. As I step out my nerves grab me like a monkey to a banana. As the music starts I take a deep breath, close my eyes, and tell myself I can do it. I slowly open my eyes and begin to move outside myself. I feel like I am performing the moves as if I have been doing it for years. I can hear myself scream from all the adrenalin pumping through me as my equipment lands wear it is supposed to be. When everything ends and the crowd gets on its feet it is the most rewarding moment that I will forever take with me. I am not in my final season and it is a bitter sweet moment for me. I am happy to be back for yet another season but at the same time I know in the back of my head that I will not be back next year.
A Job is Only as Good as it’s Environment!

I have to admit that I have not held very many jobs in my young age because I have never had a reason to. I have however had two jobs in which I loved both in their own way but I have to only pick one. My favorite of the two would have to be Walmart in Columbus, Ohio. I didn’t work there long but everything about it was great. The people I came to meet were unforgettable but I did run into the occasional jerk that tried to give me a hard time. It didn’t help that I was pregnant either. My managers were so understanding when my husband came into town from his military training. I never heard one complaint and I really appreciated it. Walmart being my favorite store helped a lot as well. I got nifty little discount card for being an employee. It really was a great place to work overall and I look forward to going back once we discharge from the military.
Safety
Fire is a serious hazard that we faces typically in chemistry labs, industries, home, theater, buildings etc… If your cloth gets fire you can put a blanket on it for safety. In industries and chemical lab there is always chance of getting fire. So it is important to keep cheap water fire extinguishers. There are many types of ‘fire extinguisher’. Water filled extinguishers are not used in chemistry labs. There extinguisher for kitchen. You can use dry sands also for safety. If you do not know how to use the extinguisher or cannot extinguish the fire leave immediately and inform the firefighter about the fire.
