I think for the sake of my son, and everything I have learned, I would have been in the relationship, exactly as it was in every way except the marriage bit. That was  an unnecessary thing that just complicated matters all around. The fact that I would change this makes me wonder if I will ever get married again. Though I was stupid enough to do it in the first place, so chances are good I’ll be so stupid in love again that it will sound like a good idea again. And who knows, maybe it will be this time around. Of course, I might get my ass kicked again, but whatever, life isn’t perfect.
